The Man

Rod Serling’s recently discovered 1972 film.

The screenplay for “The Man,” written by Rod Serling (The Twilight Zone) and directed by Joseph Sargent (Something The Lord Made, A Lesson Before Dying), is based on a novel by Irving Wallace. The film stars James Earl Jones as the first black president of the United States and features actors from the “golden age” of television and film: Burgess Meredith, Jack Benny, Janet MacLachlan, George Stanford Brown, Martin Balsam, Barbara Rush, and William Windom.

Actor Clayton LeBouef (Homicide, The Wire) will lead a discussion following the screening.
